This book was probably the best book i have ever read. I didnt get bored of it once. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Iowa wrestling.

i only have a few pages left in my book. if i could change something about the book i would make it talk more about when they went off to college. Jay and Dan end up going to Virginia Tech to wrestle for a former hawkeye. His name is Tom Brands and he used to be an assistant coach at Iowa. a Year later Tom Brands ends up getting the head coaching job at Iowa and Jay Dan and a few other wrestlers followed him there. since my last post Jay and Dan have both become four-timers. They have received their brackets and are back in their home towns.

so far both Jay and Dan have wrestled at districts. They both advanced to state at vets. Dan's little brother Nick also made it to state. He had to beat a returning state champ to make it too. They will be going to wrestle at state the next weekend. Dan won by a lot in the district tournament.Jay and Dan on now on their way to entering the elite group of being a four-timer.

There are a bunch of different settings in my book. the most popular one id in a gym somewhere with wrestling mats. the other setting is a practice room in the basement part of the school. The time period for my book is the wrestling season of 2004-05. the area in Iowa is Marion and Linn-Mar. the people around there are farmers. It is basically about like where we live. It is all a farming community with one big town that is close.

I have read to page 74. There are two main characters in this book. they are Jay Borschel and Dan LeClere. The author doesn't really describe them into detail. he just says that Jay is very built and weighs about 171 pounds. Dan is not as built but has a low center of gravity and is very scrappy. Jay attends the school Linn-Mar and Dan goes to school about 20 minutes away at North- Linn. They are both going to be 4 time state champions in Iowa.

hello my name is also Tommy Doolittle and the book i am reading is 4 days to glory. i picked this book because it is a true wrestling story of 2 four time state champs from Iowa. The stories plot is in Iowa towns. so far the two wrestlers have just been talking about their lives. that is all the farther i have gotten.
